Bloodwork is FUN :D

Sitting in the waiting room for bloodwork in the lab...
The door to the inner bowels of the lab swing open and another one of those overly peppy people in scrubs and white squeaky shoes walks out and calls for the next patient "Rebekah VanSant?!" Oh yay thats me hah the nurse directs me to sit down in the big green chair where i see about 9 empty tubes sitting on the table next to me about to be filled with my blood. Now we all know that nobody likes to have needles poked and prodded into them but for me its not that bad. ... Until...
 Nurse (with an entirely too enthusiastic voice): Hi there! my name is Wanda Sue how are you today?!
Me: I'm good, how are you?
Wanda Sue: Well i'm just fine thanks for asking!
... She then whips out this giant needle which btw i KNOW will hurt but you know how all nurses try to give you that fake reassurance that it will all be over in 2 shakes and you won't even feel a thing...

Wanda Sue: Alright then lets see if we can take some blood today Rebekah! ;D
She puts on the tourniquet and starts feeling around the inside of my arm for a vein and finally found one...
Wanda Sue: You're just gonna feel a little pinch :)
Me: Ok then
... I did feel a pinch but nothing too bad so for once the nurse wasn't lying haha but then all of the sudden i was getting lightheaded and sweating and i almost passed out so they took out hte needle before they got enough blood and let me lay down until I felt good enough for them to try again....
Wanda Sue: Alrighty then lets try this again honey!
... So she sticks me again but can't find the vein so she just keeps sticking for another 4 times and still can't find it while i'm writhing in pain...
Wanda Sue: Cheri!? Can you come over here and try this i just can't seem to find it all i'm gettin' is flesh!
Cheri: Ok ok i'm coming

Cheri looked a little more knowledgable and less irritatingly peppy, she came over took the needle and went to my other armstuck it right in and got all the blood. Sorry Wanda Sue but cheri is my best friend right now and you should change your nametag to "Vein Butcher". Bye now!!! :D
