Today is my first day off work in 2 weeks! For the past 2 weeks i've been working my ass of doubles every other day and now it is my time to relax and have 3 days off to go home and see all my favorite people. (you know who you are <3 ;) ) . At first thought I want to spend my three days off without speaking to ANYONE because i am so sick of people that i am just done with people at this moment. Serving people at a restaurant for such a long time without a break has given me a new found "Extreme Dislike" for people. Especially if they are fussy complainers, as needy as a 4 year old and that give shitty tips. For example I was serving a table of 10 people who needed refills every 60 seconds cuz they would suck down they're drinks like it was the apocolypse. All in all everything went well they got all they're food correctly and they got really good service from me since they were my only table that night... and of course they all wanted seperate checks. So i bring out they're checks and I tell them to have a wonderful night. These people took up residence at that table for HOURS after they paid and i'm not allowed to leave until they do so i can clean the table. Once they left i was skipping and rejoicing towards the table to pick up my tips and clean the damn thing. As i honed in on the last white piece of paper that would hold my tips on the credit card i look at it hoping to see something good... but wait... there's a 3 in the tip slot... is that a 3 as in $3.00 or a 3 as in 3 CENTS. This guys tab was about $40 dollars and he took the time to write down the amount and the total once he tipped me 3 CENTS!!!!! GGGRRRAAHHH! I would rather he just stiffed me and left me notnhing at all.
So I've decided that i'm going to go home for 3 days to see the fam and friends. I've already got a hot date lined up with Fragolina! and a "Ginger party" with my Kimmy D and Jilly Fresh.. Can't wait for some quality time with people that don't make me want to consider becoming a serial killer lol ... Peace and Blessings PEACE and Blessings (Tracey) ;P
hahaha i can totally relate!!! some people should be chased out the door and given their tip back... 'i'm sorry there must be some mistake did you drop this?' ahahahaha can't wait to see you! yay! glad you're home! <3
